Find Your Meaningful Career Path – Group Workshop

Assess your unique strengths and open up meaningful career opportunities for yourself. Uncover your value and worth beyond your work history, experience and education and learn how to communicate this to others in your career search.

The purpose of this workshop is to help you to find your authentic strengths, not just to identify a strength based on a list of 16. You will uncover what is unique about you and your life story and how you can turn that into a meaningful career. You will complete the workshop with a purpose statement to guide you on your career path. The workshop will include a workbook, which will be used to complete self-exploration exercises throughout the day.

Identifying your authentic self can help you:

  • Increase self-esteem and confidence
  • Obtain greater employability and expanded career options
  • Communicate your worth to others
  • Identify the value you bring to work and life roles
  • Find more meaning in life
  • Feel more satisfied and engaged with life

Through guided group discussions, participants will:

  • Identify life themes that can be turned into public strengths
  • Identify a purpose that can be turned into a meaningful career
  • Learn to articulate their worth to an employer
  • Learn to make contacts
  • Succeed in interviews
