Make Peace with Food Group Program

Are you tired of your relationship with food controlling your life? Are you ready to break free from out of control eating and weight obsession and find meaning and joy in your life?

This group program is a 12-week program designed to help you:

  • Make Peace with Food
  • Break Free of Destructive Eating
  • Practice Self-Care
  • Identify Emotional Needs
  • Cope with Stress and Emotions
  • Live a Values-Driven Life

When: Wednesdays, starting March 14th from 5:30pm-6:45pm

How Long: 12 weeks. Weeks with major holidays will be skipped.

Where: 2118 Morse Street, Houston, TX 77019

For: Adults struggling with binge eating, compulsive overeating, emotional eating, or who are tired of yo-yo dieting and the weight loss, weight gain cycle.

You will learn:

  • How to make peace with food
  • How to identify your true needs, manage stress, and practice self-care
  • How to manage your feelings and meet your needs without the use of food

Materials Needed:

The group work will also cover the 10 core principles outlined in the book, Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program that Works. You can find in any major bookstore or online here.

Prior to the group start date, please pick up a copy of the book and read Chapters 1-4.

You’ll receive supplemental handouts/worksheets on the first day of group.
